The Unity Roots Beating Homelessness project is in partnership with Church Housing, Riverside and The Quays. It was set up in 2018 to support people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
It is a music and arts therapy project designed to help and support some of the most vulnerable people in our society by running workshops and personal development courses with the focus on music and the creative arts.
The project is set in its own music studio / room where we run a number of different activities including a 12-week music programme that focuses on learning to play live instruments, singing,
song-writing and recording. A film making / drama course and band development programme.
During 2020 we will open as a recording studio but can already offer music / arts workshops to outside organisations as well as the participants we currently work with from The Quays.
